Celebrating Life

Joe and Lee are great friends to Marcia and Mike, and to us. When we visit Florida, we always have a dinner together at Positano in Boca Raton. Joe speaks to everyone in Italian and ensures we have a lovely evening. We all laugh, enjoy each other’s company and have a wonderful time.

When we heard Joe’s cancer had progressed to a point that they could only make him comfortable, we booked a flight so we could see him one last time. Craig packed something special, a white truffle from Eataly, and called Positano to request they make a special dish for us. Joe was really touched that Craig had made such a thoughtful gesture. We had a lovely dinner,  thanked Joe for bringing joy to our lives and for being such a great friend to Mike and Marcia. It was a very special night.

Joe passed away on Friday, November 2nd. We are very lucky to have shared his joy for life and his friendship. May he rest peacefully.
